We need to learn from the choices we've made

And take pride in all the obstacles that we've overcame

Be proud of yourself and the things you've done

As long as you tried your best you'll always be Number One!

Never Regret people you'll meet along the way

They will shape your future and make changes to your present day

Never regret relationships from your childhood years

They will make you better adults and teach you how to deal with your fears

Never forget how your suppose to be treated

And you should never need someone's company to make you feel completed

I always thought of you as my big deal

The Bond that we have is all to real

The special friend in you, I have allowed myself to trust

Having you as a Girlfriend has always been a must

As children we shared secrets and shedded tears

Overcame our obstacles, overcame our fears

I know you better than anyone else

You know me better than I know myself

We have disputes and we don't always agree

We fight like a couple, but that's because your so much like me

There are many Girlfriends that we've left behind

Maybe her spoken cruel words were just to unkind

Some Girlfriends were only with us for a season

And they had to be left behind for more than one reason

There is no such thing as competition between friends

If our bond were ever broken, It would be the easiest thing to be mend

Genuine Intelligent Reliable Loving Female that's Resourceful Inspirational Exceptional Nuturing and a Devoted Sister

And if she ever left, you would surely miss her

This Poem is dedicated to all the "Girlfriends" in the world

More like a sister, Gives advice like a mother, But never forget, Always stand by your Girl!

A Letter to My Unknown

I miss you even though we've never met, I speak to you even though your not there

Never being able to meet you will be my only fear

I want to hold you in my arms when things don't go your way

Being able to kiss your face will always make my day

The unconditional love and the pleasure that I will feel

Knowing that I have the power within me for your heart to heal

How much pain will I endure, How far will I go

Who says you can't love someone you don't even know

I pray for you at night, wishing my dreams will come true

Then I awake, Realizing that I am still without you

Waiting patiently for the day, when through all hard times, I will be there to hold your hand

There's nothing worst than feeling empty inside

Your true feelings dormant... not willing to rise

Why does life have to be so cruel

I lived by the code. Followed all the rules

Waiting for years for someone who never came

Who's at fault? Where do I place the blame

Believe in yourself when all else fails

Open up your heart.... your mind.....giving great details

Living your life by needing someone else

Instead of having the pleasure of being in love with yourself

Believing that someday your dreams will come true

No one can tell you when or what you may have to do

Living through the pain of loosing someone you love

Believe that their soul is at peace... looking over you from up above

Dying for the dead is not how we're intended to live

Believe you gave all that you had..... all that you were allowed to give

Feeling helpless not knowing how your ever going to make it through

Turn to the person that's your forever friend or the one that said "I Do"

Having a strong support system is the only way you'll be able to survive

And if you can't find it in them.... Changes need to be made.... your true feelings you should never have to hide

Believe that you have a purpose in life.... you're needed more than you think

Know that life is precious....to short and it can end as quickly as our eyes blink

Believe you can make it with the strength you have within

Think of life as a blessing instead of a world of Sin

4 Deadly Sins...Lust / Envy / Hate / Jealousy

The burning sensation that has me feeling Guilty

Having thoughts of committing Adultery

About to tear apart everything that I've known to be Stability

I would never be able to replace her Generosity

And now I'm alone and it's all because of my Stupidity

Feeling emotionally envious is my Malfunction

Trying my best not to let it be my Concentration

Not being able to get to where I want to be is causing me to be in a deep Depression

Getting what I want by any means necessary is my Mission

Committing crimes to get what I want has become my Obsession

Living in a world full of Hate

Do you think we should Repent before it's to Late

Hating someone because of who they Love

Because some say it's disgust that came from the Bible and our Father from up Above

Why are we hated for choosing our Loved Religion

Who and where we worship should be nothing more than our own Decision

Hated because of the color of your Skin

Not realizing that the Intelligence that we have now could only allow us to Win

465 years in captivity has made us Stronger

Living through the Holocaust has made them Richer

And the teachings of today will only make tomorrow's children Smarter

Never wanting your ego to be bruised by it

Thinking more of yourself than the one that your with

Acting out because of the Love that you feel

Jealousy is a crutch and when your handicapped by it, It's all to real

Dealing with 4 of the Deadly Sins is not what Life is About

Craving what your forbidden to have, Hating someone you never knew, and living in a world full of self doubt!

Don't let these Four creep into your Day to Day

Realize it's not needed and all it does is get in your Way!

Contentment

Are you content with the person that your with, How you live your life, and What's in your Heart

Does it make you cry, Does it make you smile, Is it a form of today's Modern Art

Who defines your happiness and holds your heart in that special way

The Mother of your child, The man of your dreams or your best friend from back in the day

Does he step out to make himself feel better inside

Does he get away with it because your true feelings you always try to hide

What makes her so special that you are drawn to her words

Is it her poetry, her mind or simply her curves

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Always remember ........ Beauty fades when we get older

Are you content with how you Love your mate

Were you drawn together physically or was it fate

Everything happens for a reason, We all know that's true

Don't do something you'll regret in the morning, it will always live with you

Sharing your thoughts, your time and your heart with someone in need

And doing it wholeheartedly without any greed

Don't listen to people who don't have your best interest at Heart

A Day that should be Celebrated

But.... By me, It's hated

Depression is what I feel

I thought they said "Time Heals"???

I miss your smile. I miss your touch

Do you realize how I miss you so much

It's been almost three years. Why do I still feel this way?

On the day of your Birth, and Every Mother's Day

I still have your message that I listen to over and over again

I miss my Mother.... I miss my Friend

Listening to your voice eases my pain

But When I hang up the phone, My body rains

I long to tell you what's been going on in my life

I still wear the ring you wore when you were his wife

This unexplainable emptiness living in my heart

The sad thing is, no one prepared me for this part

If only I had more time to tell you how I feel

Who would of thought "Sorrow" felt this real

I wish I could have one more chance to see your smile

If I knew it was possible I would walk 100,000 miles

I would do anything for that wish to come true

Where do I have to go? What do I have to do?

Life is hard without that Motherly Love

But I know your looking over us from up above

I yearn for when I no longer have to feel this way

But until then it consumes my heart on the day of your Birth and Every Mother's Day
